Secrecy Cloak Lifted at Uttermohlen Incorporated

March 27, 2001 - Columbus, Ohio

Uttermohlen Inc. proudly announced today the pre-release of Uttermohlen 1.0. Currently the project is in its beta stages following a 17-year planning cycle, so expect great things.

Target release date is set for November 8, 2001.
Target release date is November 8, 2001 - just in time for the holiday season.

Uttermohlen, Inc. cofounder and production manager, Dee Uttermohlen, stated, "it has little arms, little legs, a rapidly beating little heart and comes in a compact 17 millimeter package." (See accompanying photo.)

The final release version is expected to be quite a bit larger due to feature creep, but the added functionality is thought to be well worth the estimated 7 to 9 pounds additional weight. It is operating-system independent with a useful life expectancy of 70 to 90 years.

Company spokesman and Managing Partner Paul Uttermohlen summed it all in his statements, "Wow!"

Dee Uttermohlen added, "It's not so much the size or the surprise that makes Uttermohlen 1.0 so special, this is a one of a kind product. There won't be any more after this!"

"Uttermohlen 1.0" is the project's code name. Final naming will not occur until after the release date. Public input is being sought on a nationwide basis. See below to vote on names or to suggest one.
